Update

Hey everybody, first of all I would like to just say thank you for all of the interest and feedback I have already gotten! It seems like the blog is going to be a hit. The unfortunate news for right now is that the blog is going to be put on hold. We have some things we would like to work on and work out before I can get it going in full force. With that being said I hope to have something up and running consistently soon, hopefully before we actually start playing games and what not. But PLEASE do not lose interest as it will just be a matter of time!

The first weekend of practice went pretty well and there was a lot of good energy. I can't believe a new season is here already. Sorry I cannot give a full update at this point but hopefully soon! It took me a little while to get on here and get back to everyone because we were also busy finishing up a great coaching clinic as well this weekend. Thanks to all the coaches who attended that, as it was quite a success.

First Blog-Season Kicks Off Tomorrow

Hey everyone!! This is my first Lady Vol Low Down blog. I just wanted to kick things off and welcome everybody into Lady Vol World! I ran the idea of our team having a blog by some of our coaches, staff, players, etc. to see what they thought about the idea of letting people see a little bit of what we do, the adversity we face, the hard work and passion we put in, and most importantly the fun we have! The pitch went over really well and everyone thought it was a great idea.

With that said, we are very excited to let you guys into 'a day in the life' throughout the season and give everyone a taste of what it's like to be a part of the best program in the country. Tomorrow is the first official day of the season and I don't think anyone could be more excited or full of anticipation than we are! I think everyone is ready to put last season behind us (not forget about it, just put it behind us) and get back to doing what we do, and that is WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS! The players and coaches both have been putting in lots of work in the off-season and I think you will all be excited to see a revamped Lady Vol team!

Throughout the season I plan on including pictures, videos, and other things to make this a fun and jam packed experience for all. My goal is to please you guys, the fans!! We are very appreciative of the extended Lady Vol family and all the support we receive each and every season. Tune in tomorrow for the first official Lady Vol Low Down insider look that will come following our first practice. I will try to get a first practice update posted as soon as possible, but please bear with me as I will also be very busy working the Tennessee Coaches clinic featuring Bruce Pearl and Pat Summitt!

With that being said, Syd, Angie, Kelley, Vicki, Strick, Amber, Lyssi, Bree, Alicia, Glory, Taber, Faith, Kamiko, Dean, Daedra, Holly, Pat....LET'S GET THIS BALL ROLLING!! 2009-2010 season here we come!
